menorah 2024 (US shipping included - select pick up option at checkout)
Based off of one of my sculptures, ‘Reaching in’, I have produced a small collection of menorahs. Each piece is designed to be both functional and decorative, sitting pretty on a bookshelf throughout the year, and shining brightly during Hanukkah.
These menorahs have been slipcasted, a very different process to my usual hand building. This involved making a plaster “master” of the original sculpture and then making a two-part plaster mould - the process has been long and very very messy, but I’m thrilled to finally share them with you. While slipcast, each piece is still very much made by my hand, and small variations between the pieces are to be expected and celebrated.
The menorahs are ceramic glazed in a soft shiny white with silver coloured candle holders. Dimensions approximately 11x6.5x4 inches.
